Our name stands for a group of people who think hard about the constructed environment and who help to create it. The purpose of this summary is to show how our firm cooperates with clients, users and others from the initial programme of requirements to the mature product, so that the result will fulfil its purpose and project a positive image.
Our constant endeavour is to fathom the nature and character of our commission and to reveal its essence in our design. The site and the urban context are the initial impulses in creating an image which is appropriate for the use and enjoyment of public space. The analysis of and identification with the commission, as well as the environmental context should be coordinated consistently at every level of the design. The building and the site, the structure and the detail, the colours and the materials should be a total experience. The way the building will be used and its environment will, of course, be determined by its purpose.
In our opinion, it is important that our client is completely satisfied. To achieve this, a thorough assessment must be made of the client’s requirements and wishes. One approach is to organise workshops in which the client and the designers concentrate on communicating wishes and considering opportunities.
